Rapid Resolution Group

Sacramento, CA · Document intelligence & data consulting

Ten thousand pages. One answer you can defend.

Rapid Resolution Group turns large, messy, mostly scanned document sets into findings that hold up — with a measured accuracy rate and a citation behind every line.

The hard part isn't reading documents. It's proving you read them right.

Anyone can point a language model at a pile of PDFs and get a confident summary back. The question your opponent, your auditor, or your board will ask is different: how do you know it didn't miss anything, and how do you know it didn't make anything up?

That question is the entire design of this practice. Text extraction is benchmarked against controlled ground truth before your corpus is touched. Findings are re-derived independently and cross-checked. Every claim carries a page-level citation. Pages that can't be read reliably are reported as unreadable, not quietly filled in.

Services

Four problems, one underlying capability

Building a large document corpus and mining it accurately is the core skill. These are the places it earns its keep.

Litigation document review

High-volume review and analysis of produced records, medical files, and discovery sets — scanned or native — with page-level citations and a measured error rate.

Litigation support

Tax & audit substantiation

Reconstructing defensible expense records from years of receipts, statements and scanned paper when the books don't hold up to an IRS examination.

Substantiation work

Behavioral health data

EHR reporting, data pipelines and compliance extracts for county-contracted behavioral health and social services agencies.

Health data work

AI & automation consulting

Custom document pipelines, retrieval systems and internal tooling — built on open components you can keep, inspect and run yourself.

Method

How an engagement runs

  1. Scoping sample

You send a few hundred representative pages. That slice establishes what the documents actually look like — scan quality, layout variety, handwriting, the parts that will be hard.

  2. Calibration

The extraction pipeline is scored against known-good text before the full corpus runs, so the error rate on your material is a number, not a hope.

  3. Processing and cross-checking

The corpus is processed, findings are re-derived independently, and anything the passes disagree on is escalated for human review rather than averaged away.

  4. Delivery with the audit trail

You get the findings, the citations, the accuracy report, and the unreadable-page log — plus the intermediate data, so nothing is locked inside a vendor.

Background

Who you'd be working with

Rapid Resolution Group is the independent practice of Bryan Hope — a software and data developer based in Sacramento with roughly six years in healthcare IT, currently the in-house technical lead for a California behavioral health agency.

Before that, ten years running a custom manufacturing business whose order pipeline routed three sales channels to two factories by API and cut fulfilment from about fourteen days to four. The through-line is the same: take an ugly, high-volume, human-bottlenecked process and make it run correctly at scale.

Engagements are as-needed. There is no retainer, no platform subscription and no seat licensing. You pay for a defined piece of work at a fixed price quoted after the scoping sample.

Your data stays portable. The pipeline is assembled from open components. You receive the outputs and the intermediate artifacts, and nothing is held hostage to a contract renewal.

Frequently asked

Are you a law firm or an accounting firm?

No. Rapid Resolution Group is a technical services practice. Work is performed under the direction of your retained counsel or licensed tax professional, who remains responsible for legal and tax judgment. What I provide is the document processing, the analysis, and the evidence that the analysis is accurate.

How is this different from the review platforms we already license?

Enterprise review platforms are priced and built for matters with a seven-figure budget and a staffed review team. This is an independent engagement sized to a single problem, with no seat licenses, no per-gigabyte hosting, and no annual minimum. It also runs on open tooling, so the pipeline, the intermediate output and the source data stay yours.

What does “verifiable” actually mean here?

Every assertion in a deliverable points back to a page and a location on that page. Text extraction is scored against a known-good control before the corpus is processed, so the error rate is a measured number rather than an assumption. Findings are re-derived independently and disagreements are flagged for a human instead of being silently resolved.

Can you work with scanned paper, faxes and photocopies?

That is the normal case, and it is the part most tools handle worst. Skewed scans, stamps, handwriting in the margins, carbon copies and multi-generation photocopies all get handled explicitly, and pages that cannot be read reliably are reported as unreadable rather than guessed at.

Where are you located?

Sacramento, CA. Engagements run remotely nationwide; physical media can be shipped and handled locally in the Sacramento region.

Start with a sample of your corpus

Send a representative slice — a few hundred pages is plenty. You get back the processed output, an accuracy report against that slice, and a fixed price for the full job before any commitment.
